OK. In case you didn’t know I am working on an all new solo album. I decided to do something I don’t do much – a cover, more specifically “Smithsonian Institute Blues,” off Beefheart’s Lick My Decals Off, Baby album. I loved that record and that song when it came out in my callow youth and hope my interpretation does it justice. Viva Van Vliet!
