La teiera volante Won Over by Green Pajamas

Some Italian “Death” blog action: La teiera volante

Here is a translation from Italian…

Waiting for new releases (usually January is rather stingy), you retrieve some records of 2012 lost along the way.  The Green Pajamas were formed in Seattle in 1984 and in almost thirty years have always maintained (do not know how voluntarily) an independent profile, having never signed to a major label. Almost impossible to find in network news in this Italian band that did not know existed until, thanks to the ever valid impactus, I came across Death by Misadventure, their latest concept album after two plays that won me over. The only site that devotes a few lines to band Scaruffi: The Green Pajamas are one of the most underrated teams in Seattle. Formed and grew up during the grunge boom, they were marginalized by the big tour record because their sound was the antithesis of the kind in vogue. I talked about the concept for the first eight songs, tied together, tell a kind of fairy tale entitled The Fall of the queen bee. The influences are varied: the ballad psychedelic, folk music. The second part, entitled Cruel Dreams Cruel Things, is characterized by a greater sensitivity pop.
