T. Muddy extends the lower lip.

So I’ve read more than once lately that we are mostly a reissue label, and god knows we do unearth some ancient stuff from time to time, but I thought I’d go do some statistical analysis.

Since GMR Mach 2 started in 2009, we have had 42 releases. Of those, 14 are old shit, the remaining 28 are freshly recorded new releases, a two-to-one ratio. If you look at our monthly AotM where we often feature other NW artists, we still have more new overall (42 to 36) than old, so we still lean that way.

However, it is truthful to say that most people we put out are older than sin (that’s old) but putting stuff out by decrepit old bastards is not quite the same as reissuing old stuff, this is skippy fresh new music by people who are just too dumb to quit having fun.

The bottom line is this. I just put out music I like and I don’t worry a lot about who else likes it. I hope people like it (hell, I hope YOU like it), but that is not my guiding light. I just like to rock, baby.

I hope this clarifies our position in the marketplace for you and eradicates confusion. Do let me know should you have questions.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
