As always, I don’t pick my own Green Monkey stuff. You go ahead on that.
1. Ceramic Dog- It’s Your Turn. I got into a substantial Marc Ribot thing this year and this album is great avant rock. Cool guys with big chops. “Masters of The Internet” is mega great!

2. Yoko Ono – Take Me To The Land of Hell. Fun with Sean and Yoko. Plastic Ono Band in every way you could want ’em.

3. Bowie – The Next Day Extra. This is the 3 disc version that came out in November. “Atomica” on the second disc is my fav song on this – love it.

4. Master Musicians of Bukkake – Far West. I vaguely know Randall Dunn from long ago, just enough to interest me in tracking this down. Glad I did.

5. Syd Arthur – On and On. Jeff Kelly of the Green Pajamas turned me on to these Prog-rock limeys. Pretty cool.

6. Bob Dylan – Another Self Portrait (1969-1971): The Bootleg Series Vol. 10. All these Dylan bootleg series have been pretty great – no exception here.

7. Hobosexual II. A couple Seattle guys makin’ a guitar racket. What’s not to like?

8. Daft Punk – Random Access Memories. Somehow I had never really listened to these guys. Popmeister son Ben convinced me I need to check ’em. He was right.

9. Kanye West – Yeezus. Ben has also been trying to get on the Kanye bandwagon for a while – never could get there. Got there this time – art rock hip hop weirdo stuff. Yes.

10. Clipping – Midcity. I ran into these guys last February somewhere and thought they were pretty radical sounding hip hop. Still do.

10. Don Campau – Just Passing Through. Used to correspond with Don back in cassette underground days. Ran into him online recently – really like his new album!

10.Amy Denio – Prodigal Light. The latest odyssey from the land of Amy – starring Ms. Denio and 24 friends from around Planet Earth.

10. Rusty Willoughby – Anti. I didn’t even have this on the list a week ago but I have been listening for a week and decided to add it on. So there. Rusty makes records out in his barn on Vashon or so I’ve been told. This is the latest. I dig it.
